Thank you to the following contributors:

For The Love of Emma Fundraiser

On August 19th & 20th, 2010, Danielle Wilson held a yard sale/bake sale fundraiser in honor of her daughter, Emma Alexa. The proceeds were used to create baskets that include a copy of Still.
for newly bereaved parents at Hanover Hospital, where Emma was born. Blankets for the Sweet Pea Project were collected as well.

Thanks to the efforts of this beautiful mother, we received 51 new and handmade blankets!

Open Your Heart On Valentine's Day
2010

For the second year, the C.A.R.E.S. Committee at Auntie Anne's selected the Sweet Pea Project as a beneficiary of their Valentine's Day fundraiser.

On February 12th, the Auntie Anne's C.A.R.E.S. Committee invited employees to "Open Your Heart on Valentine's Day." The committee sold chocolate covered strawberries as well as a lunch of hot dogs, baked beans and potato chips. They also encouraged employees to donate a new, unused baby blanket.

The C.A.R.E.S. Committee raised $450 through this event and collected 11 beautiful blankets for the Sweet Pea Project! This money will enable the Sweet Pea Project to donate 45 books to hospitals, birthing centers and support groups. An enormous thank you to the C.A.R.E.S. Committee and to Auntie Anne's, Inc. for generously matching the employee contributions.

Open Your Heart on Valentine's Day 2009

On February 13th, the
Auntie Anne's CARES committee supported the Sweet Pea Project with a special event for their employees. The committee encouraged Auntie Anne's employees to "Open Your Heart on Valentine's Day" by donating blankets and purchasing delicious chocolate covered strawberries.

49 blankets were donated and 200 chocolate covered strawberries were sold! This will allow the Sweet Pea Project to reach out to two more hospitals and provide each with a one year supply of blankets. A humongous thank you goes out to Shannon Zimmerman and all the CARES committee members and Auntie Anne's employees who helped make the Valentine's Day benefit such a success.
